Kamala something i have often not understood is the dark side of Amma’s Bhakti devotees? So often what is expressed interpersonal among the “devotees” is so very opposite of the love and grace of Amma, it bruises the heart. There is always the explanations it is due to Amma’s cleansing and clearing all the bad tendencies, much like the rocks in the tumblers. Kamala that excuse begins to feel like sugar licking a bully, and sometimes even question why it is allowed to flourish among the “devotees”? Is it because some are so invested in the externalization on the form of Amma and are not able to move into their own inner Amma and thus the kindling for fundamentalisation of Amma? I have held an open question since 2001 what is the root of fundamentalism and how do we as students of a most grace giving awesome Fully Embodied Master not turn Her into another fundamentalism?

Kamala surely i should just keep quiet and take this to Amma in prayer and use it as once again as a resolve to not allow the actions of others to detour my own commitment to live in this world with heart and compassion for all. Always on the sacred journey, “and this too”. . . .Why must the “backwaters” of Bhakti be so murky that little lives are not honored?
