I am so sorry I couldn’t make it to the funeral, I got the message too late in the day on Monday. My prayers are with you and your sweet Anni! Om Namaha Shivaya. I’ll see you soon. And I’ll see you in India this November and December.

Darling Kamala,
Both of are in the same boat.We became friends as animal lovers, Link and Anni are extreme animal lovers. I remember that rainy day on which you three enriched my house with your presence .Anni was carrying the puppy.
She made tea for me brought down stairs and served. A vibrant Anni.
She talked to me at about 11pm andtold me that she will be leaving Kerala on the next day for treatment inAmerica.She has transformed herself into an Angel

Our dearest Anni is with Amma now as an angel. Do you know, one need to have bodily existence only when prarabthas are there. Our Anni had now no more prarabthas left. That’s why Amma took her away. God wanted to have Anni by Her side all the time.

Dearest Sister Kamala and Link,
Thank you for sharing your family pictures with us. I feel as if I was there when all this transpired…I am always so amazed at how the sun can shine on days like those..when Anni left us, and on 9/11. They look like such beautiful days. Is the sun trying to make up desperately for what is being taken from us here on the Earth? Are the Heavens rejoicing because it just got so much more beautiful there with the coming of all those beautiful souls to illuminate it further? Maybe there is some kind of balm in the sunshine to keep us from shriveling up from grief. Dear Family, I hope somehow you have the strength to stay in touch with all of us, your new, extended family….We all share in your love, and your loss…Your sister in Amma…

I remember when Kamala invited me to help Link and Anni move Amma’s darshan chair at Amritapuri, prior to Amma’s leaving on tour. Link asked me to carry it slung over my shoulder on a strap. It weighs about 40 kilos and I carried it some little distance out of Amma’s house. My shoulder was really hurting. I stopped to find an easier way to do it. Just then Anni arrived and saw I was having trouble. I am not a big guy, but I am of average size and somewhat bigger than Anni was a year or so ago. She said she does it all the time, and promptly picked the chair up on her shoulder, and continued the majority of the job cheerfully, without complaint.
What else is there to say about Anni’s spirit?

Dear Kamala and Linkon,
You did with all your heart the best, you gave to Anni all what she needed all throughout her life. Anni she is an example to all of us. You are as well. Our love has become more. I hope Anni will reveal to us more love secrets.
I hope your strength will strengthen us all.
