Dear Aunity and Link,

I have never met you or Annika, but have followed the blog online very closely since I the day a friend of my friend told me about her. You all have had a very profound effect on me. I have prayed for Anni for every night I have known about her condition.

God works in mysterious way, giving such hardship to someone so young. But we have to learn and grow from all of this. I know that I have.

While Anni has shed only her physical appearance, her soul is immortal. She is closer to her creator. You shall unite again with your beloved daughter and sister.

Experts from the Bhagavad –Geeta.

Chapter 2, Verse 13
dehino ’smin yatha dehe kaumaram yauvanam jara
tatha dehantara-praptir dhiras tatra na muhyati

As the embodied soul continuously passes, in the body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body after death. The physical change in the body doesn’t affect the soul. Wise men do not get bemused by such a change.

Chapter 2, Verse 25
avyakto ’yam acintyo ’yam avikaryo ’yam ucyate
tasmad evam viditvainam nanusocitum arhasi

The soul is imperceptible, inconceivable and immutable. You should not grieve after knowing this.

I prayed for Anni for the past few weeks, prayed for her suffering to end one way or the other and that she has peace now. I feel as if I knew her in some way. Inspite of the weakness from her illness, I found strength in her. She is a light for all of us. My prayers go to Anni still and to the family. May you all be at peace.
